Thursday May 28, local rap artist Jason Howard aka Faze was on his way to a meeting to discuss the release of his up-coming solo album, yet to be titled. It was at that point when he was involved in a DUI Hit and Run.
Words had previously been exchanged with another driver at a four way traffic signal. "There's kids in the car!" I heard one shout to the other. As the light changed green and the road expanded into two lanes, "I got over to let the guy go around me, and that's when he sped up, then side swiped me." As the vehicle sped off, Faze caught the license plate and police were able to track down the car. Upon questioning the suspect officers detected the smell of alcohol and administered a breathalyzer... He was arrested shortly after and none of the children were injured.
Justice was served for once and to all of you who thought Faze was the perpetrator; He's got a special message for you below!
